Amended Application

An Amended Application should be filed whenever the application or attachments are being amended.
When filing an amended application, you MUST use the "Amended Application" event. The event will require you to relate to the original application in CM and the amended application will appear on the Judge's calendar.
Notice of Motion
If the Notice of Motion is also being amended, you will have the opportunity to select Amended from the first prefix box that will appear in front of the notice of motion text. Please be sure to add "Amended" at the front of your pdf title.
If the Notice of Motion is not being amended, do not make a selection from the first prefix box.
Step-by-Step Procedures:

Select [Bankruptcy>Motions/Applications]

Enter case number and click Next

Select Amended Application from pick list and click Next

Select Party from party pick list or Add/create new party

Click Next

Click Next
The PDF Document selection screen will display.

Click Browse button and navigate to locate the appropriate document/file

View file to verify the correct file is being selected

Click Open button and filename will appear in the browse window
Next, the Proposed Order must be added as an attachment to the notice of motion and motion.

Click Yes radio button for Attachment to Document and click Next
The next screen will display all pending motions and applications that have been filed in the case. Select the appropriate application(s) to which your amended application relates.

Click box next to related application

Insert hearing date, time and location and click Next
The Modify Text Editing screen will display. Click the down arrow to select a prefix if applicable.

Click Next
The Final Text screen will display. This is your final opportunity to modify the entry before submitting the filing.

Verify the accuracy of the docket text

Click Next to complete filing process
The Notice of Electronic Filing will display. It is the verification that the filing has been sent electronically to the court.
Copies of this notice and the document filed are emailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case. You have a period of 15 days for a one timefree look at the document filed.
